NEMATX AG is a Swiss startup company specialized in additive manufacturing. Founded as a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) in 2020, we aim to introduce the next generation in high-performance polymer 3D printing. Our “Nematic 3D Printing” technology allows for the production of high-performance end-use parts which clearly outperform current benchmarks in polymer 3D printing. Target industries of NEMATX include Aerospace & Space, Medical, Electronics and Industrial Applications where parts are exposed to harsh environmental conditions.
Silvan Gantenbein is Co-Founder and CTO of NEMATX. He has developed Nematic 3D Printing during his PhD Thesis at ETH Zurich and leads the technical development at NEMATX. Silvan holds an MSc in Materials Science from ETH Zurich and has extensive experience in polymer processing and 3D printing.
